Tournament Rules 2010
Highlights
- Tournament teams may not fish on the day of the Perchmaster Classic before 7AM! .
- The polygraph of the winning team continues to be in place, but beginning in 2009, one individual from the winning team will be selected to receive polygraph testing at the completion of the weigh-in. This individual will be selected by the Tournament Director. (Previously, we had always tested the team leader...).
Rules
- Perch must be alive! Determination of whether an individual fish is dead or alive will come down to the majority vote of five different team leaders.
- Only perch caught from Keuka and Canandaigua Lakes on the day of the tournament, April 10th, 2010 are eligible.
- Tournament Hours: Teams can be on the water as early as they choose, but fishing can only take place between 7AM and 4PM, on April 10th, 2010. Teams who wish to weigh in fish must be IN the Branchport Fire Hall by 5PM sharp on April 10th, 2010
- New York State fishing regulations will dictate the techniques allowed.
- Teams will weigh in their Largest 5 Perch.
- Teams will also weigh in their “Lunker” Perch. Once again, we ask that teams only approach the weigh-in table with no more than 6 perch. We will continue to offer sorting of a team's lunker and one “close” fish.
- The Tournament Director’s decisions are final
- There will not be a rainout/blow off date for this event.
